Machine Learning Engineer

We are opening a key machine learning engineering position in our development team.  In this role, you will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data collected from all phases of the concrete construction process. The real-time process intelligence helps our customers make smarter decisions in delivering higher quality concrete, minimize the environmental impact, and become more productive in their work.


In Caidio, you will get much responsibility in defining how our solution will be implemented. Working in this position will be a great learning and development platform for you to build something that nobody else has done before. You will participate in making Caidio to become the #1 Concrete Intelligence provider in the world.

Responsibilities

 

  • Designing and implementing Caidio’s machine learning architecture and solution

  • Helping and coaching Caidio’s team members on machine learning

  • Doing the ad-hoc analysis and presenting results

​

Skills and Qualifications

​

  • Strong understanding of machine libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas, scikit, TensorFlow and Keras

  • Experience with big data by using Spark, Hadoop, Hbase and SQL

  • Analytical skills with the ability to derive patterns from multiple disparate datasets

  • Skills in data visualization and reporting such as R Shiny, Matplotlib, Qlik Sense, Tableau

  • We appreciate the knowledge on cloud services (mostly on AWS and GCP)

  • Programming skills to build prototypes and validate your ideas with real data. We use mostly Python and occasionally R and Bash

  • Fast prototyping skills, including comprehensive feature integration during all cycles of development

  • Familiar with regular software development toolsets like Git, Continuous integration and deployment tools

  • Excellent team working and communication skills in spoken and written English as well as with modern collaboration tools

  • The startup-driven mindset with the capability of taking responsibility and initiative
